She began collecting the stones and carving them into little animals, which is where the name Sacred Totems comes from. In 2021, she found out she has ADHD, which explained her struggles with focusing among other things. Since crystals were already something she'd been working with, not just for their beauty, but also their metaphysical properties, she researched which ones could help with ADHD. It turned out there were quite a few! Moment decided to cut the different stones into strips and glue them together into a pendant in order to get the benefits of many crystals at once. Finding it was in fact helpful, she began making more fused stone pendants like this for other ailment as well. Adding lava to the back of them so essential oils could also be added for additional healing benefits. In this cutting and piecing different stones together, Moment found a new passion within lapidary work and since has put most of her creativity towards creating pendants and wall hangings using this intarsia technique and creating an array of beautiful designs and scenes.
